DESCRIPTION:“The Beijing International Symposium on Science Communication is sponsored by Beijing Association for Science and Technology (BAST). The symposium aims to provide opportunities to S&T organizations\, museums\, universities\, and enterprises from China and other countries to exchange innovative ideas\, develop strategic cooperation\, and share latest information on science communication. \nThis year’s theme is “Dual Upgrading of Concepts and Practice on Science Communication”. The Symposium will include three sessions. \nSession 1—Promotion of Science Communication Resources; \nSession 2—Science Café (Theme Report: Science communication responding to the Belt and Road Initiative); \nSession 3—Training researchers on International Science Communication Approaches.“ \nAnne Dijkstra (University of Twente) is one of the invited key speakers\, and will give a talk on 6 June and a training session on 7 June. \n
